"Leaving ******* at daycare makes me feel at ease...Eileen is very open and honest about everything."
-Kayla
Gingerbread Manor has been a life-saver for our family. We are two shift working parents, at one point one was full time employed and the other casual employed, and we always require nights. Which means, we did not always have the easiest schedule. Having someone who is willing to accommodate that, and have a similar caregiving style to ours, is everything I could have hoped for in childcare. He's happy being with the other kids, and has improved his social skills. Eileen communicates clearly about behaviors and other soft skills she's been working on with him, and asks us what we're focusing on at home, so that we can all be as consistent as possible. I get a kick out of my son ASKING if he can go play with his friends at "Eileen's house." It's like another home to him.

We are pleased with the level of independence ******* is showing. He is learning so many new things, and really seems to be enjoying himself there!"

“Eileen is a wonderful caregiver. Our daughter was always looking forward to going to day care and would cry tears when it was time to pick her up. In Eileen's care, *** was able to enhance her social skills, and listening skills as well. The hours were very flexible and cost was very good as well. Thanks again Eileen.”

"Since my daughter has been attending Gingerbread Manor Childcare, everyday she is learning something new. She is transitioning beautifully with the help and support of Eileen and her staff. Eileen has also been a great help for me as a parent as I've never had a child in daycare before. We work together to make sure that my daughter is happy and adjusting. I love this daycare. Thank you for taking such good care of my girl!"

***** was in care for two years with Gingerbread Manor. During that time,****'s needs were met and she flourished. From playtime to group outings to meals and snacks to assistance with potty training, Eileen and her family were a great help. My daughter would constantly surprise me with knowing her letters, colors, shapes and animals- a lot of which was from working with Eileen and having fun while being educated, she has learned how to share with other kids, how to help others and how to help herself. Gingerbread Manor was the best place for her during her infant and early toddler years. I am so thankful that Eileen was there to assist with my little girl, giving her a home-away-from-home that she could grow and be safe and nurtured in. My daughter still asks to go visit Eileen and her family regularly.

"Since my daughter began attending daycare at Gingerbread Manor, she has made many wonderful advances. She has also made strides in personal growth. (Friendship, sharing, etc) Eileen is a wonderful mother who is naturally caring, understanding and nurturing. I feel my daughter has learned so much while in her care! I have a child with special needs, and Eileen was able to meet my girl's needs with ease. In the past I have only had experience with daycare centre's, and Eileen's dayhome opened my eyes much more interactive and intimate this type of care can be. I am so grateful for all that you have done for us; You were a life saver who came about just in time for me to start work. I am happy that I was able to transition ******* into the daycare "world" with your help! I will highly recommend you to anyone who wishes to find care for their child(ren)!"

"My son is in need of speech and language assistance, and has some issues around food textures and finicky eating. Eileen, Ryan and her staff were very sensitive to his needs. I am very happy to see that his speech has improved tremendously over the course of a few months. I would definitely recommend this dayhome to other parents looking for a quality home based care program."

"We chose this daycare because of the great rates and the flexible hours. We were very pleased with the ratio of children to caregivers. It made sure that our son had one on one time as well as lots of opportunities to play with other children.
This is the first daycare that my son looked forward to going to, and actually cried when I picked him up because he wanted to stay longer. It has been really great how flexible they are, if I (Desiree) was running late from work or had to drop my son off early on occasion they were always willing to accommodate my needs. They are very friendly and my son got along great with their family."
-Desiree and Jason
Thank you for all the care and attention you gave my little girl. Out of all the provider's I have worked with and interviewed, your communication style and openness are the best and I have interviewed A LOT of providers!

"***** loved Gingerbread Manor, she repeated Eileen's name as we were driving toward the dayhome. ***** was well fed, and taken care of. We appreciated the fresh food she took the time to prepare. We fully trusted Eileen."
-Lubos and Darina
"I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care Eileen has given to my children. I am usually a nervous parent who is hesitant to leave my children, however I have never once felt uneasy, worried or apprehensive about trusting her to make sure my children are well taken care of, happy and safe. After only a week in Gingerbread Manor, my son who is 24 months old began to ask to go to Eileen’s on a daily basis. When it is time for me to get my uniform on to go to work, my son smiles and heads to fetch his things so he can go to the dayhome. My 9 year old daughter has described her as “loving, funny and kind.”
-Shel
"I was pleased with her consistency...She used examples from her own life to enrich student understanding..Very enthusiastic...Developed excellent working relationships."
